Locking Balloon Numbers

Lens numbers balloons in order and renumbers them as you add and delete dimensions. Lock a number to keep it where it is when you reorder balloons or add dimensions.

Changing and Locking a Number

1. Click the dimension’s box to open the Dimension Editor.
2. Click the balloon number at the top and type the new one. If another balloon had that number, the two swap. The new number is locked.

To lock a number without changing it, click the lock icon next to it. Click the lock icon again to unlock the number.

When the Number Is Already Locked

If you type a number that’s locked on another dimension, Lens shows Identical balloons with two choices:

• Swap: your dimension takes the locked number, and the other dimension takes your old number.
• Keep both: both dimensions keep the same number.
